Briefing on the Australia Study Tour 2008

More than 40 parents and students attended the briefing session last night. Ms. Fanny Chau from Grace Educational Services International came to brief us on the tour and Mrs. Helen Cheung was also present to share about her experience in taking the students to Australia in the previous years. Lastly Dr. To exhorted the students to cherish every chance to learn during the tour, and said a prayer for us.

Hi! I am Queenie from class 2A. Nice to meet you all! It’s my first time to join this kind of study tour and I enjoy travelling around different countries. Also I love flying on planes. I’m glad that I can join the Australia Study Tour which is hell by my school. Wish God will bless us in our journey. Here is my self-introduction.
My full name is Yuen Wing Sze. You can call me Queenie. (Remember not to spell it wrongly><)I am 13 years old. I love all the ball games very much. My hobby is playing basketball and table tennis. I think I am a sporty girl. Although joining many different extra-curricular activities will make my mum be angry with me because of my school performance, but I don’t want to give up. At last I persuade my mum and she didn’t make any complains again. If you don’t know how to play one of the ball games, I am sure you will understand after I teach you. <3>
In my family, I have my dad, my mum and a younger sister. She is cute and she is 10 years old. My family often goes for trips together when we have free time in holidays. Because of going too much trips with my family and so I want to try something new. This time, I am going along with my classmates and teachers to Australia. I always play table-tennis with my table - tennis with my family. I am a football and table - tennis team member too, so I can practise it after school. I am also like to play music. Hi! I am Joe Chan in 1C class, you can call me Joe <(^3^)>! I am quite happy to go overseas so I join Australia study tour. I am so exciting for those days that I am in Australia. Why? Because this is the first time I have been to Australia. In my class , I can have many happy times with my classmates so I enjoy my school life in secondary school. My hobbies are skipping, playing computer games, surfing the internets and swimming. Although I like swimming, I haven't joined any swimming competitions because I don't like to compete with others. I like eating chicken wings, ice cream and beef. I am now 12 years old and after birthday this year I will be 13 years old. My birthday is on the 26 of October.

Hello everyone, I am Oscar Lau. I am studying in 1A class and our class teacher are Mr Choy and Miss Wong.

Let's me introduce myself. My height is around 158 cm and I weight 48 kg. I love japanese food very much. I think it was the most delicious food in the world!! My favourite movies are the series of Harry Potter and Narnia because it is very exciting and funny (sometimes). I have many hobbies too! I love swimming, collecting stamps, playing sports such as football, basketball, baseball, table tennis and badminton. Sometimes, I played computer games too. My favourite computer games are [Ford Street Racing] and [Roller Coaster Tycoon]. They are both interesting and exciting!!

I have been to Australia once around 7 years old. I went to Sydney and Melbourne and both of them are beautiful places. I feel very happy to join this Australia Study Tour and I am looking foward on this trip because I want to have more friends and knowledges.

Hi! I am Michelle Law. You can called me Michelle or Wing Wing. >.< I study in 2A class. Ha Ha!!!! I am quite excited for my coming journey. It is the first time I go to Australia. I heard My aunt that Australia has many insects. I am shocked at that moment. But when I know that I will go to Australia in winter. I feel relieved. It is also my first time to travel a plane so long. I deem that it is a good experience for me to learn english and look around the beautiful world. This time I will stay in Australia for nearly one month. I will go to my aunt house and stay two weeks after the tour end. ^^ I hope that I will learn independence after I go to Australia and the journey will go smoothly.
Ha!Ha! Let me introduce myself. ^^My full name is Law Wing Yin. I am 14 years old. My family have 3 family members. They are Dad, Mum and me. They are so attentive. I love them.
I like to play the piano. My piano grade is 5. I think that playing piano is very graceful. I also keen onsinging because it can make me forget all the unhappy things.I love to sing some pop music. So, I quite like going karaoke and sing songs.
Although I am thin, I like eating very much. Especially japanese food. I love to eat sashimi and tempura. They are so delicious. I also like to eat ice-cream. It is yummy. ^^
I quite like animals. Especially dogs. I think that dogs are cute and kind. Unfortunately, My estate don't let me feed the dogs.

Hi~~I am Jessica Liu from 2A~~I feel very happy that I can join the Australia study tour.I deem this is a gift from god. I hope that I can have a good experience and we can have a good time is this tour!But there is also so something I worry about...."The time staying on the plane...."I think it is too long for me because when I get on the plane, I will feel sleepy and have a headache....so I don't know I can brace how long...so please pray for me and for the weather of Australia~~

Ok~Now let me introduce myself~~My name is Liu Sum Yin.I am 13 years old~I love to eat chocolate very much.So Mr.Leung please buy some chocolate for me~~(kidding)I love black and white colour~~(Do you guys love them too??)I also have a lot of hobbies, for example: singing, dancing , watching TV and BREAK DANCE!!!!Oh! I love break dance so much!! I really want to learn with my classmate!But unfortunately, mu mum doesn't let me to learn because she said it is dangerous...I feel a bit sad of this....but it's ok~And my favourite movie is Step up1 & 2. Same as Mr. Leung, I feel excited and happy to be the teacher-in-charge of this study tour. I and Mr. Leung went to UK with UCCKE students 2 years ago and we did have a wonderful time there. We guarantee your stay in Australia will be memorable and fruitful.

This wonderful blog is set up by Mr. Leung and hope that all of you will write something here. (Don't feel shy! It's just a free-writing!) I am Mr. Michael Leung

Welcome to join the Australia Study Tour 2008. I am Mr Leung, who will bring you to Sydney this year along with Miss Tam. I feel delighted to be with all of you in this summer to explore the life in Down Under. We hope that the tour can broaden your exposure to English language and different cultures.

Here's a brief introduction about myself. I am S5B form teacher, and I teach S.2 General English this year. I love reading English books, both fictions and non-fictions, and writing commentary on various social issues. Besides, I am keen on playing table tennis. Please let me know if you want to have a game with me.

I enjoy teaching and spending time with kids, which gives me chances to understand them better and guides them through their growth. In turn, this helps me keep a youthful mind.

I am looking forward to knowing each of you more, and rejoicing together in the Australian sunshine.
